What is and Industrial Engineer and why do I have a passion for Computer-aided Design?
Software Package Skills and Experience

Industrial Engineering is all about choices. Other engineering disciplines apply skills to very specific areas. What makes an Industrial Engineer (IE) unique is the flexibility of being able to work in a variety of businesses.

I am professionally trained as a productivity and quality improvement specialist.  The major responsibilities of an IE include work methods, industrial safety, analysis and improvement, machine tool analysis, plant layout and facility design and overall productivity improvement, among others.

I have innate skills in the use of 3D tools to assist Plant Layout Studies. I can offer significant contributions in the layout of industrial plants. This involves not only the design and modelling of plant facilities but also the design of mechanical, structural and piping components required for green and brown field expansion projects.

I had provided plant layout solutions for the mining and heavy industry in Australia and New Caledonia. Clients include Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Xstrata Coal, Orica, Wesfarmers, Anglo American Metallurgical Coal, to name just a few.

My interest in computer-aided design inspired the desire to further expand my knowledge. Four years ago I explored other businesses that utilise 3D modelling tools. Through continued professional training and independent marketing of my services I have acquired additional experience in the areas of Architecture and Digital Design.

Thank you for visiting my website. Here you can find information about my experience, education and professional career. I am an Industrial Engineer with a background in Plant Layout and Computer-aided Design. I have a set of engineering skills providing EPCM and Operational Support Services for the mining and heavy industry in Australia. I also possess strong skills using a wide variety of 3D software and have a great interest in Building Information Modelling (BIM). This enables me to work in many fields of Engineering and Architecture. I can undertake modelling, create designs, coordinate data manager systems and deliver detailed drawings of materials & handling equipment in a quick and efficient manner.
